Electric Vehicle Evolution
Netherlands becomes the first European country to approve Tesla FSD (Supervised)
On 10 April 2026, the Dutch vehicle authority RDW granted Tesla type approval for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) under UN Regulation R-171 — the first national approval in the EU. Tesla FSD operates at SAE Level 2, requiring driver supervision at all times. Germany, France, Belgium, Spain and Italy are expected to follow by summer 2026. Source: Electrek
