Every EU Member State must offer a Digital Identity Wallet by late 2026
Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 (eIDAS 2.0), which entered into force on 20 May 2024, each Member State must make at least one EU Digital Identity Wallet available to citizens within 24 months.
